Irritations
This week has been filled with numerous annoyances that I could do without. Fortunately, most of them are trifling, however things do tend to come in spades. I can't fault kantoku especially with the structure of our team. We lead by example and lapses aren't generally forgiven. On that same vein, neither should errant tennis balls coming towards face.
Yet the usefulness of such a thing is continually lost upon me. I should be thankfully that Atobe has not yet deigned to put his two cents in on the matter. Of course, it is only natural that he feels at home in a forum such as this. A self mandated spotlight would hardly draw any objection.
Gakuto has been more vocal of late in direct result of my other recurring issue. Splitting practice time between two doubles pairs is hardly effective and seems to generate animosity and annoyance at best. Not to mention the changes in style are also an adjustment-- one that doesn't seem to be lessening each time I approach the courts. Working with the both of them, it becomes quite clear that some people are meant to be doubles players while others are not. People who can not realize their own limitations and work past them, in my observation, will only hinder their path to success.
Regretfully, I find myself competing more against Fuji than our opponents and I have no doubts he feels the same.
